Role Description: Automobile Technician

Location: Kairali Ford ,Vadavathoor, Opposite of Milma Dairy ,Kottayam
Type: Full-time, On-site

As an Automobile Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnosis, repairs, and routine maintenance of vehicles to ensure optimum performance and safety. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service, maintaining customer trust, and supporting the service team in achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake servicing, wheel alignment, and air-conditioning checks.
• Conduct systematic vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Carry out engine repairs, transmission servicing, suspension, and fuel system maintenance.
• Test-drive vehicles after repairs to confirm proper functionality.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned jobs while maintaining service quality.
• Maintain accurate records of repair work, parts used, and services performed.
• Follow workshop safety practices and ensure tools/equipment are properly handled.
• Support colleagues and provide technical input when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI/Diploma/Certification in Automobile Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Automobile Technician/Mechanic (multi-brand or dealership experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems – engine, braking, transmission, electrical, and suspension.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform workshop tasks.
• A valid driving license is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
