Service Finance Analyst (Project & Revenue Accounting)

You will be joining the HV Finance team at Hitachi Vantara in Pune, a global data foundation company trusted by innovators worldwide. The company's resilient and high-performance data infrastructure enables customers across various industries, from banks to theme parks, to focus on leveraging data to achieve incredible outcomes. As a member of the HV Finance team, your primary responsibility will be to provide financial review for all booked standalone and bundled Services contracts, particularly focusing on higher dollar value contracts and structuring complex contracts containing Services elements. You will collaborate with Sales, Sales Ops, Services departments, DSA, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and SOX processes, including Finance T&C's when necessary. Your role will involve supporting an assigned territory comprising a GEO, Region, Country, or District. You will engage in finance business partnering with the services operations team, offering reporting and analytics support for the Services organization. Additionally, you will be involved in consulting, informing, and assisting in the forecasting process. Your responsibilities will also include conducting quarterly PS Standalone Selling Price analysis for the assigned territory, ensuring IFRS compliance, and advising on necessary actions to maintain financial standards. To excel in this role, you should possess 2-6 years of experience in accounting within an IFRS environment, with qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA considered assets. A strong understanding of Revenue Recognition and Project Accounting is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. You should have experience in working with non-finance stakeholders, prioritizing tasks effectively, working independently to meet deadlines, and collaborating with remote teams. Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and drive issue resolutions is crucial for success.
