Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer / Sr. Service Engineer, your primary goal is to handle all service calls efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for generating revenue by recommending spare parts after service visits and attending and prioritizing service calls to minimize resolution time. An important aspect of your role will be to share best practices within the team to enhance technical capabilities. Your duties and responsibilities will include attending all service calls as per the schedule provided by the Service Coordinator/Dispatcher, submitting critical and recommended spare parts lists to customers after service visits, and ensuring timely submissions of service reports to close calls raised in SAP. You will be expected to continuously improve your technical skills to effectively handle breakdown calls and reduce downtime of material handling equipment (MHEs). Decision-making and problem-solving, along with a collaborative team approach, will be essential in this role. Furthermore, you should always be proactive in suggesting ways to enhance the handling of installations and commissioning, as well as implementing measures to improve safety levels during service activities. It will be your responsibility to complete all necessary documentation related to service activities with precision. To qualify for this position, you should hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics engineering. Specialized knowledge in mechanical, hydraulics, and electrical circuits, as well as technical skills and good communication abilities, are essential. Your role will require you to ensure a 90% uptime of MHEs, demonstrating your commitment to meeting customer requirements. Additionally, characteristics such as humbleness and professional certifications in basic hydraulics and electrical systems will be advantageous in excelling in this role.,
