Service Advisor

Key Responsibilities of Service Advisor

1. Customer Handling

Greet customers and understand their vehicle service requirements.

Record customer complaints accurately in the job card.

Explain service estimates, repair details, and timelines clearly.

Provide updates to customers on job progress and additional repairs if needed.

Ensure customer satisfaction and handle post-service feedback or complaints.

2. Job Card & Documentation

Prepare job cards with accurate details of customer concerns.

Coordinate with the workshop floor to prioritize and allocate jobs.

Maintain records of services, repairs, and parts used.

3. Workshop Coordination

Communicate customer concerns to technicians clearly.

Follow up on repair progress and ensure timely completion.

Ensure quality checks before vehicle delivery.

4. Billing & Delivery

Verify all jobs completed as per customer request.

Prepare the final invoice and explain the charges to customers.

Deliver the vehicle to the customer in good condition with a service summary.

5. Sales & Promotion

Promote value-added services, service packages, and maintenance plans.

Achieve targets for service revenue, accessories, and parts sales.

6. Follow-Up

Call customers after service to ensure satisfaction.

Remind customers of upcoming service due dates.

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Service Advisor (in a car dealership preferred).

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Technical knowledge of vehicles and basic diagnostic understanding.

Computer proficiency (DMS, MS Office, CRM tools).

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
