Service Advisor / Bodyshop Advisor

As a Service Advisor / Bodyshop Advisor in our company based in Mumbai, your role involves greeting customers and understanding their vehicle concerns / service requirements. You will be responsible for opening job cards and providing accurate cost & time estimates. Your coordination with technicians, bodyshop, and parts department will ensure a smooth workflow. It is essential to explain service details, repairs, and recommendations to customers in simple terms. Additionally, updating customers on repair progress and ensuring timely delivery of vehicles will be part of your responsibilities. Resolving customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction are crucial aspects of this role. Maintaining records of service history and following up with customers for repeat business will be expected from you. Promoting additional services, products, and AMC packages is also part of the job scope. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers and understand their vehicle concerns / service requirements - Open job cards and provide accurate cost & time estimates - Coordinate with technicians, bodyshop, and parts department for smooth workflow - Explain service details, repairs, and recommendations to customers in simple terms - Update customers on repair progress and ensure timely delivery of vehicles - Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction - Maintain records of service history and follow up with customers for repeat business - Promote additional services, products, and AMC packages Qualifications Required: - Diploma / Graduate in Automobile or Mechanical background preferred - 1-4 years of experience as a Service Advisor / Bodyshop Advisor in the automobile industry Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund.
