Job Description -Waiter / Waitress – Resort Dining Services

Location: Tango Beacj Resort Laxmanpur Beach, Neil Island, Andaman & Nicobar Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Waiters/Waitresses to join our beachfront resort team. You will be the face of our dining experience, ensuring guests enjoy warm hospitality, timely service, and memorable meals in a serene island setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service Excellence
• Greet guests with a warm smile and escort them to tables
• Present menus and explain daily specials or local delicacies
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or order pads
• Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously
• Upselling & Recommendations
• Suggest menu items and beverages based on guest preferences
• Promote resort specials and upsell premium offerings
• Coordination & Communication
• Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order flow
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
• Cleanliness & Setup
• Prepare tables with linens, cutlery, and glassware
• Clear and reset tables efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas throughout shifts
• Payments & Billing
• Present bills, process payments, and return change accurately
• Handle cash, card, and digital transactions securely
• Requirements & Skills
• Should be abe to communicate i English,Hindi & Bengali
• Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant service preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Polite, patient, and professional demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
