Job Description

Should have knowledge of Unix (HPUX / Linux / AIX / Ubuntu / CentOS / Sun Solaris) and Windows Operating Systems, including installation, kernel parameters, and troubleshooting.
Should coordinate with Bank / MSP team for resolution of any OS / DB / Application installation and performance issues related to hardware.
Should have knowledge of File Systems, including LVM Administration, Service Guard Cluster setup and management, ASM configuration, etc.
Should have hands-on experience in Patch installation and management.
Should have basic knowledge across all domains (Server / Storage / Network) and experience with multiple OEM hardware technologies, along with good coordination skills.
Should have hands-on experience in firmware and BIOS upgrades.
Should have hands-on experience in Business Copy Volume setup and management.
Should have knowledge of different Storage and Backup technologies, including setup and maintenance.
Should have fundamental knowledge of Networking and Network terminologies.
Should have knowledge of major networking devices, OEMs, and models.
Should have knowledge of Networking and Security devices, including configuration and maintenance.
Should have basic computer knowledge, including MS Office, Outlook, and Internet usage.
