Job Description

Administer and patch Linux servers across on-prem and cloud environments
Troubleshoot OS-level and SAP-related issues in Linux systems
Ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of Linux-based infrastructure
Maintain system documentation and ticketing in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
Collaborate with SAP, cloud, and infrastructure teams for system optimization

Must Have

Strong experience administering Linux environments (RHEL 8/9, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux)
Proficient in managing patching using Red Hat Satellite
Hands-on experience supporting SAP workloads on Linux
Experience in highly critical production environments
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: Azure and/or AWS
Experience managing Linux systems in VMware environments
Knowledge of LVM, systemd, SELinux, and Linux security hardening
Understanding of monitoring tools and log analysis (e.g., Nagios, Solarwinds)
High sense of urgency and ownership
Team collaboration and knowledge sharing
Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
Customer focus and service excellence mindset
Analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude


Nice to Have:

Experience with shell scripting and automation (Bash, Python)
Exposure to hybrid cloud tools (Azure Arc, AWS Systems Manager)
Familiarity with VxRail infrastructure
