Server Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for various IT operations including patch management, disaster recovery, backup management, server and virtualization management, capacity and performance management, IT service management, and cross-functional engagements. You will work full-time with working hours from Monday to Saturday 09:00AM to 06:00PM and 24/7 availability in P1 situations. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct daily health checkups virtually and on-site when required - Perform Windows environment patching activities during weekends and after business hours - Manage Azure disaster recovery and conduct DR drills - Monitor backup jobs daily, resolve failures/warnings, and perform restores as per schedules - Upgrade Commvault Backup tool regularly - Manage IT service requests like Incidents, Service Requests, and Change Requests - Monitor and manage VMware vCenter, create and delete VMs, tune performance, and resolve alerts proactively - Engage with vendors, partners, cross-functional teams, and departments for application implementations and L3 troubleshooting - Coordinate with Global IT and security team for daily tasks and server security maintenance - Review and optimize CPU, Memory, and Storage resources regularly for capacity and performance management Qualifications Required: - Full-time job availability - Health insurance and Provident Fund benefits - In-person work location (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.),
