Job Description

Maxwell GeoSystems is an innovative SaaS company whose technology allows civil engineering professionals to generate state-of-the-art reports and acquire real-time information throughout the entire project management process. Some of the duties youll be doing Assist in designing, deploying, and managing AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and Route 53. Perform basic configuration, management, and troubleshooting in Linux-based cloud environments, particularly Ubuntu. Manage user permissions, file systems, and network configurations in Linux servers. Implement IAM roles/policies and security best practices using AWS Security. Work with CloudWatch and zabbix for monitoring and logging. Write simple scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting. Perform software installations, package management (APT), and system updates in Ubuntu-based environments. Optimize system performance by monitoring CPU, memory, and disk usage, and troubleshooting bottlenecks. Automate system maintenance tasks like log rotation, backups, and scheduled jobs using cron and systemd. Support backup strategies using AWS Backup and S3 Lifecycle Policies.
