Position: System Administrator

Location: Madurai

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware systems.
• Monitor and support network infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Perform system updates, patches, and backups regularly.
• Provide support for user accounts, email, and file systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Ensure security by implementing firewalls, antivirus, and updates.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Assist in deploying new technologies and cloud-based services.
• Monitor server performance and take proactive steps to improve it.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Collaborate with vendors and other teams when needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent knowledge).
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or Linux servers.
• Familiarity with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Linux administration.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Basic understanding of scripting or automation tools.
