Position Overview

SEO Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct

  technical SEO audits

  using industry-standard tools (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc.)
• Identify and resolve

  crawl errors, indexing issues, and broken links

• Optimize

  site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance

• Implement

  structured data/schema markup

• Ensure proper

  XML sitemap

  creation and submission
• Manage

  robots.txt

  and canonicalization best practices
• Optimize

  URL structures, internal linking, and site hierarchy

• Collaborate with developers to implement technical recommendations
• Monitor

  search performance metrics

  and provide actionable insights
• Stay updated on

  Google algorithm changes

  and SEO best practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of technical SEO experience, ideally with e-commerce websites on

  Shopify and Wordpress

• Strong understanding of

  HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

• Experience with

  Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms

• Proficient in SEO tools:

  Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.

• Knowledge of

  Core Web Vitals

• Ability to analyze and interpret technical data into actionable strategies
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
