Job Description

Role Overview: As an SEO at Stripe, you will lead the SEO strategy for Stripe Docs in collaboration with the Global SEO Lead. Your main responsibilities will include enhancing on-site optimization, developing international SEO strategies, and addressing technical SEO improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional partners such as Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Engineering, Developer Relations, Design, Product, and Analytics to drive revenue and visibility for Stripe. Key Responsibilities: - Enhance on-site optimization by improving website content and structure to boost search engine rankings and enhance user experience. - Develop international SEO strategies to optimize the website for multiple countries and languages, increasing global visibility and engagement. - Address technical SEO improvements to ensure the website is compatible and optimized for search engine technologies and LLM agents. - Develop strategic plans outlining key SEO initiatives and timelines to achieve short-term and long-term objectives. - Analyze and report on KPIs to track progress and identify opportunities for further enhancement. Qualifications Required: - 4 years of experience crafting and executing SEO strategies. - Motivated self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve independently. - Deep expertise in all disciplines of SEO, including technical, on-site, and off-site SEO. - Proficient in researching and interpreting search queries for developer audiences. - Basic experience with HTML, CSS, and other web programming skills. - Data-driven, results-oriented leader proficient in B2B and SEO performance data. - Excellent communication, presentation, and soft skills to effectively evangelize and educate on SEO internally. - Proficient in professional English literacy. - Preferred qualifications include experience with technical users, enterprise SEO, software engineering background, YouTube video content optimization, multilingual literacy, localization, B2B experience, SQL proficiency, telemetry, and web analytics.
