About the Role:

Freelance SEO Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Execute on-page and off-page SEO activities to boost search engine rankings.
Perform detailed keyword research and competitor analysis.
Optimize website content, meta descriptions, titles, headers, and images.
Monitor and report on key SEO metrics such as traffic, rankings, and CTR.
Conduct SEO audits and implement technical fixes (e.g., broken links, page speed issues).
Assist in creating SEO-friendly content guidelines for writers.
Build high-quality backlinks through outreach and ethical link-building techniques.
Stay updated with search engine algorithm updates and best practices.

Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (freelance or in-house/agency).
Proficient in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Strong understanding of keyword research and SEO best practices.
Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
Ability to work independently and deliver tasks on time.
Strong communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with local SEO, mobile SEO, or technical SEO.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Previous experience working with content teams or digital marketing agencies.
