Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Executive to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing SEO strategies that improve the websites visibility, increase organic traffic, and enhance overall search engine rankings. You'll work closely with content, web development, and marketing teams to ensure all SEO best practices are effectively applied.

Preferred candidate profile

1. On-Page SEO

  • Conduct detailed keyword research to identify high-traffic and low-competition keywords.
  • Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers (H1H6), and URLs for SEO best practices.
  • Ensure proper internal linking and optimize anchor texts.
  • Improve page speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals for better user experience.
  • Implement schema markup and structured data for rich results.
  • Regularly audit and update website content to maintain freshness and relevancy.

2. Off-Page SEO

  • Develop and execute link-building strategies through guest posts, outreach, and PR.
  • Identify and remove toxic or spammy backlinks using disavow tools.
  • Increase domain authority through quality backlink acquisition.
  • Manage local SEO activities, including Google Business Profile optimization and citations.

3. Technical SEO

  • Perform site audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
  • Fix issues related to crawl errors, indexing, canonicalization, and sitemaps.
  • Optimize robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and resolve duplicate content problems.
  • Ensure the website follows proper HTTPS implementation and structured hierarchy.

4. Content Optimization

  • Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and product descriptions.
  • Optimize content with target keywords, LSI terms, and readability improvements.
  • Track content performance through analytics and make data-driven improvements.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor daily organic traffic, impressions, and keyword rankings using Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze competitor performance and identify opportunities for growth.

6. Tools & Platforms Knowledge

  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, and Canva.
  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for on-page implementation.
