Job Description

Location: Hyderabad (Walkable distance from JNTU Metro Station)

SEO & Digital Marketing Executive

The selected candidate will handle SEO, digital branding, content optimization, and analytics.
Routine posting tasks will be handled by junior staff under your guidance.

Note:

A) SEO (Conferences + Journals)

On-Page SEO

  • Optimize metadata, titles, descriptions, keywords, and structured content.
  • Improve Google rankings for event-, publication-, and research-related keywords.
  • Create SEO-friendly content customized for global audiences.

Technical SEO

  • Fix indexing issues, crawler errors, mobile usability problems, and broken links.
  • Improve site speed, user experience, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Manage sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, and URL structures.

Off-Page SEO

  • Build high-quality backlinks from academic platforms, institutions, directories, and research forums.
  • Boost journal visibility via indexing platforms (Google Scholar, DOAJ, etc.).
  • Promote articles, editorial updates, and special issues.

Keyword Research

  • Conduct keyword research for diverse research domains and global event themes.
  • Identify trending academic and conference-related search terms.

B) DIGITAL MARKETING

Social Media Management

  • Plan content strategy for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter).
  • Review creatives, posts, and announcements prepared by internal staff.
  • Guide posting schedules, engagement plans, and brand consistency.

Paid Advertising (Basic/Mid-Level)

  • Assist in planning and optimizing Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads campaigns.
  • Promote conference registrations, journal call-for-papers, and key activities.

Brand Visibility

  • Enhance digital presence of conferences and journals.
  • Highlight keynote speakers, editorial members, and scientific committees.
  • Support broader branding initiatives for URF.

C) PUBLICATIONS (Journals)

  • Optimize journal websites for SEO and indexing readiness.
  • Improve organic traffic and author submission rates.
  • Promote publications, special issues, and editorial board content.
  • Maintain journal metadata, schema markup, and indexing profiles.
  • Strengthen visibility of submission portals and journal workflows.

D) ANALYTICS & REPORTING

  • Daily monitoring via Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
  • Generate weekly SEO reports including:
    • Average Position
    • CTR
    • Impressions
    • Ranking improvements
    • Key page performance
  • Provide monthly detailed reports for conference and journal platforms.
  • Recommend improvements based on analytics and keyword insights.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum

    5+ years

    of experience in SEO & Digital Marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO.
  • Experience with academic publishing, research websites, or events (preferred).
  • Proficiency in:
    • Google Search Console
    • Google Analytics
    • Ubersuggest / Ahrefs / SEMRush
    • WordPress / PHP-based websites
    • Canva or similar design tools
  • Ability to guide junior staff for routine tasks.
  • Excellent English communication and documentation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate:

    BBA, MBA, B.Tech, MCA, B.Sc, M.Sc

  • SEO & Digital Marketing certifications are an added advantage.
