Senior/Staff/Principal - Silicon Design Validation Engineer

As a NAND Silicon Design Validation Product Engineer at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in the development, validation, characterization, and qualification of pioneering NAND Flash memory products. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various engineering teams to define, validate, and deliver product specifications and requirements. Your responsibilities will include: - Solid understanding & experience of Analog VLSI Design is essential for this role - Ability to lead technical task forces with accountability and ownership - Preferred experience in NAND product design development, validation, characterization & qualification - Hands-on experience with simulation and debugging silicon signals - Previous exposure to hands-on measurements on wafer probe stations and testers for invent validation - Drive timely issue resolution with multi-functional teams for improved validation & root cause understanding Qualifications required for this role include: - Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Strong foundation in mixed-signal VLSI, analog circuits, digital logic, and RTL design - Understanding of Flash memory architecture and operation - Proficiency in bench testing equipment such as o-scope, logic analyzer, and Nextest Magnum - Knowledge of writing testbenches in SV, Verilog, Verilog-AMS, Spice - Proficient in programming/scripting languages like C/C++, Python, Perl, Verilog - Effective communication and presentation skills In addition, technical skills that will be beneficial for this role are: - Experience in device modeling in TCAD and MATLAB, and Device Fabrication - Strong fundamentals in Analog VLSI design - Tools knowledge: Teradyne's Magnum, Verilog, ModelSim, Cadence Virtuoso, Oscilloscope - Proficiency in Python and C would be advantageous Education required for this role: - A master's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with a minimum of 8 years" experience - Coursework in VLSI technology, analog/digital circuits, semiconductor process, and semiconductor device physics Micron Technology, Inc. is a global industry leader in memory and storage solutions, focusing on transforming how the world uses information to enrich life.
