Senior/Lead System Software Engineer (.NET core)

As a Web Application Developer for Rosemount Level Measurement Products at Emerson, you will be responsible for designing and architecting software features, collaborating with designers and product managers, and implementing both client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) functionalities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Capture and develop software requirements - Prepare software design and architecture for projects - Develop high-level and low-level design for assigned projects - Liaison with User Experience designers for frontend development - Design and implementation of scalable Microservices - Participate and contribute to code reviews - Develop and unit test web-based applications - Collaborate and coordinate with developers, testers, and product owners - Commit to improving software techniques and processes for continuous improvement - Contribute and present in project evaluations - Willingness to work flexible hours that align with local and remote engineering teams **Qualifications Required:** - B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics - Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Software Design, Development & Maintenance - Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in .Net Core, C#.Net, ASP.Net MVC - Strong experience in frontend development using HTML5/CSS, Bootstrap, REACT JS, Vue JS, JavaScript/Typescript - Working knowledge of SQL or SQLite Database and stored procedures - Experience in Microservices based architecture and design philosophies - Proficiency with both adaptive and responsive designs - Design and implementation of RESTful APIs and understanding of OAuth 2.0 - Hands-on working experience on Docker, Container networking & Kubernetes - Experience with application deployment using CI/CD in DevOps environment like Jenkins, Azure - Experience in developing applications on Windows & Linux OS platforms - Experience in using any static & dynamic code analysis tool would be preferred **Additional Company Details:** At Emerson, the workplace values every employee, fosters innovation, collaboration, and diversity.
