Senior/Lead System Software Engineer (.NET core)

As a Web Application Developer for Rosemount Level Measurement Products at Emerson, you will be responsible for designing and architecting software features, collaborating with designers and product managers to understand requirements, and implementing both client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) components. Your primary responsibilities will include capturing and developing software requirements, preparing software design and architecture, developing high-level and low-level designs for projects, liaising with User Experience designers for front-end development, designing and implementing scalable Microservices, participating in code reviews, developing and unit testing web-based applications, collaborating with developers, testers, and product owners, striving for continuous improvement in software techniques and processes, and contributing to project evaluations. Additionally, you should be willing to work flexible hours that align with both local and remote engineering needs. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.E/B. Tech or M. Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and possess a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Software Design, Development, and Maintenance. You are required to have hands-on experience of 8 to 10 years in .Net Core, C#.Net, ASP.Net MVC, strong proficiency in frontend development using HTML5/CSS, Bootstrap, REACT JS, Vue JS, JavaScript/Typescripts, working knowledge of SQL or SQLite Database, experience in Microservices-based architecture and design philosophies, expertise in adaptive and responsive designs, design and implementation of RESTful APIs with an understanding of OAuth 2.0, hands-on experience with Docker, Container networking, Kubernetes, application deployment using CI/CD in DevOps environments like Jenkins, Azure, developing applications on Windows & Linux OS platforms, and familiarity with static & dynamic code analysis tools. Preferred qualifications that would set you apart include knowledge of Communication Protocol development such as OPC UA, Modbus, TCP/IP, experience with Cyber Security Verification tools like CIS-CAT Pro, familiarity with Cyber Security SDLC (Secure Coding), experience in Developing Applications using TCP/IP Socket Programming, Serial Communication, proficiency in using Azure DevOps for planning & CI/CD environments, and experience with Scrum methodology.
