Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Zabbix Monitoring Specialist to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade monitoring solutions using Zabbix. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in monitoring strategies, automation, and performance tuning across complex infrastructure environments (on-prem and cloud).

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect scalable Zabbix solutions to monitor enterprise infrastructure, applications, and cloud resources.

Install, configure, and maintain Zabbix servers, proxies, agents, and databases.

Develop and optimize custom templates, triggers, actions, dashboards, scripts, and notification mechanisms.

Implement integrations with third-party tools (e.g., Grafana, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Slack, Teams).

Automate monitoring setup and configuration using tools like Ansible, Python, PowerShell, or REST API.

Ensure high availability and performance of monitoring systems.

Provide root cause analysis and performance metrics for critical issues.

Lead monitoring standardization and best practices across teams and environments.

Conduct training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 7-8 years of IT infrastructure/monitoring experience with 5+ years hands-on in Zabbix.

Strong experience in designing large-scale Zabbix deployments for enterprise systems.

Proficient in Zabbix API scripting, automation, and template customization.

Experience with Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.

Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for monitoring automation.

Familiar with databases used with Zabbix (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Knowledge of SNMP, IPMI, JMX, and other data collection protocols.

Integration knowledge with Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic Stack, or other NMS tools is a strong plus.

Exposure to cloud monitoring (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Stackdriver) and hybrid environments.

Working knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow, incident workflows, and SLAs.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Zabbix Certified Specialist or Zabbix Certified Professional (optional but preferred).

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

Experience in container monitoring (Kubernetes, Docker).

Knowledge of ISO/ITIL frameworks and monitoring KPIs.
