Role Overview: As a VDI Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 8 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to manage security agent updates on VDI infrastructure and oversee software installations on VDI images (VDAs). You will be required to have hands-on experience with Nutanix and NetScaler, implement VDI security policy changes using tools like AppSense, and ensure that VDI implementations (delivery groups) are appropriately sized and that disk images are properly maintained through merging, consolidation, and deletion. Additionally, you will be expected to perform basic troubleshooting of Citrix, Windows/Linux OS, hardware, security agents, and VMs, escalating issues when necessary, and manage OS, hardware, and security agent patching and updates. Participation in incident bridges, updating tickets accurately and promptly, and escalating issues as needed are also part of your responsibilities.
