Senior VDI Engineer

As a VDI Subject Matter Expert (SME) with more than 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing security agent updates on VDI infrastructure and performing software installations on VDI images (VDAs). Your hands-on experience with Nutanix and NetScaler will be crucial for this role. You will also play a key role in implementing VDI security policy changes using AppSense or a similar tool. Ensuring that VDI implementations (delivery groups) are appropriately sized and that disk images are well-maintained (merged, consolidated, and deleted) will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to perform basic troubleshooting of Citrix, Windows/Linux OS, hardware, security agents, and VMs, escalating issues as necessary. Your role will involve managing OS (Windows/Linux), hardware (firmware), and security agent patching and updates. You will also be required to participate in incident bridges, update tickets accurately and promptly, and escalate issues as needed.
