About the Role

Senior UI/UX Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery for web and mobile products.
• Conduct user research, interviews, journey mapping, usability testing, and competitor benchmarking to identify and prioritize user needs.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, user flows, and design specs to communicate design concepts clearly.
• Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and with developers to ensure accurate implementation.
• Evolve and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI kits to ensure design consistency across the product ecosystem.
• Champion best practices in accessibility, responsive design, and usability.
• Deliver polished visual designs that reflect brand identity and product goals.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new tools, technologies, and methodologies into the design process.
• Mentor junior designers and lead design reviews, critiques, and workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design or product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thinking and execution.
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, visual hierarchy, and human-centered design principles.
• Experience designing for mobile (iOS/Android) and responsive web applications.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance business goals, technical feasibility, and user needs.
• Familiarity with handoff tools like Zeplin, Avocode, or design-to-code workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum product teams.
• Understanding of UX writing, microcopy, and content strategy.
• Knowledge of design validation tools (e.g., Maze, Hotjar, Lookback, Google Analytics).
• Basic familiarity with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for better collaboration with engineers.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries at scale.
• Strong storytelling skills to communicate design rationale and impact.
