Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB's success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. The work model for the role is: #L1-Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Business in Drive Products in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for: . UX/UI design work in ABB Motion R&D projects . Creating the design brief together with product owners, lead designer, integrate customer and user understanding with business requirements . Supporting R&D projects in customer understanding. Hands-on design work and collaborating with developers . Coordinating design across multiple projects & Author, iterate, and maintain UI documentation . Spreading Human Centered Design mindset in the organization (advocate design process, train colleagues)

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor/Master studies in Design education (Interaction Design, Industrial Design, etc.)
• 5+ years of relevant B2B experience in the field of UX/UI design and showcase in portfolio
• Excellent visual and UI/UX- design skills & a portfolio to back this up
• Documented work experience and examples from shippable products (b2b environment, Web, WPF, iOS, Android)
• Proficiency with design & prototyping tools such as Adobe CC and Figma
• Excellent visual standards and obsessive attention to detail making UI designs pixel perfect Ability to distill complex processes into simple, clear, user interactions
• Ability to translate abstract ideas and requirements into tangible and functional design deliverables.
