Senior UI UX Designer

As a Creative UI/UX Designer specializing in creating engaging digital experiences for children with autism, your primary role will be to design mobile applications that incorporate gamification, animations, and illustrations tailored to the unique needs of children on the autism spectrum. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, focusing on creating an intuitive and sensory-friendly user experience for children with autism. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to understand the specific needs of the target audience and create interactive gamified experiences that promote skill development and learning. - Utilize your expertise in animations and illustrations to design appealing and accessible characters, environments, and interactive elements. - Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from children with autism, parents, and professionals to refine and improve the app design iteratively. - Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and technologies related to autism intervention, educational gaming, and inclusive design principles. - Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements, animations, and gamification mechanics into the final product. - Maintain high standards of design quality, consistency, and accessibility throughout the development process. Qualifications Required: - 9+ years of proven experience in mobile app design with a portfolio showcasing expertise in gamification, animations, and illustrations. - Strong understanding of child development, autism spectrum disorders, and inclusive design principles. - Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma, as well as animation software like Adobe After Effects or Spine. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment. - Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children with autism through creative and innovative technology solutions. - Knowledge of instructional design will be an added advantage. - Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
