Role Description

Senior Travel Consultant - Sales

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Handling

• Handle inbound travel enquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins
• Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable travel options
• Sell domestic & international tour packages, flights, hotels, and add-on services
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
• Achieve monthly sales & revenue targets

Itinerary & Booking Management

• Prepare customized itineraries & quotations
• Coordinate with operations team for booking confirmations
• Ensure timely issuance of tickets, hotel vouchers, and travel documents

Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain proper follow-up with prospective clients
• Provide pre & post-travel support
• Handle basic customer complaints professionally
• Generate repeat business & referrals

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with vendors (hotels, transporters, airlines, DMCs)
• Ensure accurate customer documentation & payments
• Update lead status in CRM system

Required Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication & persuasion skills
• Knowledge of domestic & international travel destinations
• Good itinerary planning & costing skills
• Computer knowledge (CRM, Email, Excel)
• Sales, negotiation & closing skills
• Customer service & problem-solving ability

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline
• Diploma / Degree in Travel & Tourism preferred

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years experience in travel sales / ticketing / package sales

Salary- 25000-35000 per month
