Senior Tools Programmer

Role Overview: As a Tools Programmer (Unreal) at LightFury, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, efficient, and scalable tools for AAA games using Unreal Engine. You will collaborate with the programming team, designers, and other stakeholders to create tools that meet the project's artistic and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable tools for AAA games using Unreal Engine. - Collaborate with the programming team to develop and implement tools such as level editors, asset importers, and data visualization tools. - Work with the design team to create tools for game mechanics, AI, and physics. - Troubleshoot and optimize tool-related issues and performance bottlenecks. - Develop and maintain technical documentation for tools and pipelines. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in game development and Unreal Engine. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. - Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns. - Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming. - Experience with game engines, particularly Unreal Engine. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
