Senior Test Engineer

Role Summary
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our XR and web-based applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with developers, designers, and product teams. You will take ownership of our testing frameworks, CI quality gates, and automation pipelines to maintain high-quality standards across releases.

Primary Responsibilities (70%)
Define and implement comprehensive test plans and test casesDevelop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, E2E)Perform functional, regression, performance, and cross-browser testingIdentify, log, and track bugs using project management toolsCollaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve test coverageIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD workflowsSecondary Responsibilities (30%)Conduct exploratory and usability testing for XR interactionsCreate and manage test data sets and environmentsContribute to release planning and go/no-go decisionsMonitor production issues and conduct root cause analysis

Technical Skills
Testing Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Mocha, PostmanLanguages & Frameworks: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIsCI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, basic scriptingBug Tracking & Test Management: Jira, TestRail, ZephyrXR/Product Testing: 3D interaction validation, performance profiling

Qualifications
Education: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.Experience: 6 years of hands-on experience in QA and software testing, including test automation and CI/CD integration.Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and risk-based testing strategies.
