Senior Test Engineer - QA Automation (Python)

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining automated scripts using Python. You will establish criteria for automating test scripts and develop automated testing frameworks for end-to-end and integration. Your role will involve building advanced automated test suites, recommending standards based on industry best practices, and implementing testing techniques to evaluate application functionality. You will design and maintain complex QA environments, produce product delivery schedules through the execution of automated test suites, and establish automated test environments for various testing scenarios. Your responsibilities will also include identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects in software functions, collaborating with developers to resolve programming inconsistencies, and coaching junior team members. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of five years of progressive quality assurance testing experience with a focus on automated testing. Proficiency in automated testing tools and scripting, software development life cycle (SDLC), SQL, and client-side technologies is essential. Experience with tools like HP, Selenium, and SoapUI, as well as knowledge of HP ALM and HP UFT, will be beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with developer tools, cloud-based applications, risk-based testing procedures, and project management is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field is required for this position, along with ISTQB or CSTE Foundation Certification.
