Senior Test Engineer

As a Senior Test Engineer or Test Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in our quality assurance efforts. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the development of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software projects. - Executing functional tests, both manual and automated, to ensure software quality. - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts. - Demonstrating expertise in using AI tools for testing, including crafting effective prompts for generating test data and analyzing results. - Understanding API testing, creating and managing Postman collections, and automating API tests. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and ensure adherence throughout the SDLC. - Serving as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters on assigned projects. - Demonstrating strong proficiency in JavaScript or Python to build robust automation solutions and tools. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior role. - Expertise in functional testing and test automation best practices. - Demonstrated experience using AI tools for testing and a solid understanding of prompt engineering. - Experience with Postman for automated API testing. - Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for test automation and scripting. - Good communication and analytical skills.
