Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the team as a Senior Test Automation and Pipelines Engineer for the Priceless Platform in Pune, India. Your primary focus will be on scaling an AWS cloud and cloud native platform, ensuring reliability, security, and velocity. As a part of the collaborative engineering culture, you will work on critical initiatives related to test automation, CI/CD pipeline integration, and maintaining the quality of the production platform. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on implementation of test automation, performance testing, functional automation, and test data management, as well as infrastructure automation. - Collaborate with test automation engineers to share technical expertise and mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence. - Create a culture of site reliability, shared ownership, and automation throughout the organization. - Participate in Reliability practices such as chaos engineering, progressive rollout, and DevOps collaboration. - Architect monitoring, logging, and alerting for end-to-end observability. - Improve performance and scalability through load testing, capacity planning, and architectural enhancements. - Develop playbooks for incident response, disaster recovery, and post-mortem analyses. - Enhance test automation frameworks, test harnesses, and CI/CD integration for comprehensive test coverage. - Provide on-call support for critical production systems on a rotating basis. - Continuously enhance SRE and test automation using emerging technologies and methodologies. - Manage test environments, data, and infrastructure to enable thorough testing. Qualification Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Test Automation, SRE, or DevOps engineering roles. - Strong expertise in Cloud/AWS Engineering. - Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks like Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, etc. - Sound knowledge of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and build tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity). - Familiarity with relational databases and ability to write SQL queries for data validation. - Effective communication skills and collaborative mindset. - Problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. - Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team. - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - Certifications in software testing and test automation tools/frameworks are a plus.
