Role Overview: As a Senior Test Automation, Pipelines and Site Reliability Engineer for Priceless Platform in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in scaling an AWS-based global platform. Your expertise in ensuring the reliability of distributed platforms at a planet scale will be instrumental in maintaining a robust platform infrastructure. If you thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment within Mastercard, this opportunity is for you. The Priceless Platform, acquired by Mastercard from a Silicon Valley startup, is experiencing significant growth and is in need of seasoned engineers with a passion for scaling AWS cloud and cloud-native platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Implement test automation, performance testing, functional automation, and test data management, along with infrastructure automation. - Collaborate with test automation engineers to share technical expertise and promote a culture of excellence through mentorship. - Foster a culture of site reliability, shared ownership, and automation by participating in technical design reviews and code quality processes. - Engage in reliability practices such as chaos engineering, progressive rollout, and DevOps collaboration to enhance resilience. - Design monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for comprehensive observability. - Enhance performance and scalability through load testing, capacity planning, and architectural enhancements. - Develop playbooks for incident response, disaster recovery, and post-mortem analyses. - Contribute to building and improving test automation frameworks, test harnesses, and CI/CD integration for extensive test coverage. - Provide on-call support for critical production systems on a rotating basis. - Drive continuous improvement in SRE and test automation using emerging technologies and methodologies. - Manage test environments, data, and infrastructure to facilitate thorough testing. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience as an engineer in Test Automation, SRE, or DevOps. - Strong track record of delivering complex automation in fast-paced environments. - Proficiency in Cloud/AWS Engineering. - Effective communication skills with a focus on collaboration and organization. - Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, etc. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and build tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity. - Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies. - Ability to write SQL queries for data validation. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently. - Certifications in software testing or test automation tools/frameworks would be advantageous. - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.,
