Position Senior Test Automation Engineer (Module Lead) – CXP

Experience Required: 8+Years.

Working Days: 5 Days a week

Shift Timings: 12:00 hrs. - 21:00 hrs. IST

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science from a reputed institute/Advanced certification in technologies

Responsibilities:

• Defining tools and frameworks to develop and maintain test automation
• Lead QA in refinement and 3 Amigos, with examples of Acceptance Criteria for all test types
• Identification of test automation opportunities
• Work closely with the development team to define strategy and best practices
• Looking for opportunities to “Shift left” testing and test automation
• Providing clear and accurate documentation for the tests and test automation
• Contributing towards the continuous improvement of testing and test automation practices
• Integrating automated tests with the CI/CD pipeline
• Sharing Best Practice and owning the testing process in all cadence ceremonies
• On-going development and maintenance of automation framework; adhering to strict coding
• standards set within the team and hold other junior engineers accountable

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks for UI and APIs.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or similar.
• Experience with user interface testing tools such as Playwright.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Node-Fetch or similar.
• Familiarity with non-functional testing tools such as Artillery and JMeter.
• Experience with Source Control Systems. e.g. git
• Skilled in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, especially using platforms like Azure or GitLab.
• Experience with contract testing, mocking/stubbing tools, and test data management.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of Agile tools JIRA, Confluence etc.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automating tests within Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Experience
• Platform is a big plus.
• Automated testing experience of Mobile Apps and Chat Bots ia an added advantage.
• ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification (or equivalent).
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure or GCP.
