Description
As a Technical Services Provider at UL Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of technical services to clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing technical services directly to clients or in collaboration with internal teams to ensure that Technical Program/Project Requirements are well-defined, documented, communicated, and updated efficiently. - Demonstrating a good understanding of product testing, reviewing test reports in garments and textiles/chemistry engineering, and familiarity with laboratory LIMS system applications such as Citrix. - Collaborating with Commercial and Operations teams to meet the technical needs of specific clients or product categories. - Preparing technical evaluations, test procedures, SOPs, and other laboratory instructions related to regulatory and client-specific technical requirements. - Leading the development and continuous improvement of departmental processes, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while mentoring team members to enhance overall team performance. - Adhering to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and following all physical and digital security practices. - Performing any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - University Degree (equivalent to a Bachelors degree) from an accredited program in a related field, along with a minimum of six years of related work experience. Skills: - Strong technical understanding of industry codes, regulations, standards, service/product lines, and target markets with a proven track record of sound technical judgment. - Proficiency in product testing, test reports review in garments and textiles/chemistry engineering, and experience with laboratory LIMS system applications, particularly Citrix. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Abilities: - Ability to facilitate customer meetings, negotiate, and influence outcomes effectively. - Proficiency in managing people and/or complex projects. - Demonstrated capability to identify and manage priorities, establish, track, and meet schedules for multiple projects, while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service. - Capacity to work virtually in a multicultural, global environment.
