Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer, Martech platforms with a strong foundation in modern web technologies and a passion for automation, AI-driven solutions, and digital marketing platforms
This role goes beyond traditional Testing it requires a consultative approach, the ability to design intelligent systems, and a drive to optimize digital experiences through data and innovation

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications
Ensure thorough coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements
Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for testing using Python/Java
Enhance existing test automation suites to improve efficiency and coverage

Use advanced SQL skills to query databases for data validation and testing
Write complex SQL queries to validate data transformation and integration
Identify, document, and prioritize defects
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and re-testing of defects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements, clarify ambiguities, and provide testing insights
Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies in AI, automation, and martech
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in software testing, with significant expertise in both manual and automated testing
Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Proficiency in test automation tools (eg, Selenium, TestNG) and scripting languages (eg, Python, Java)
Experience with performance and security testing tools (eg, JMeter, LoadRunner, OWASP tools) is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different partners
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities
Strong database skills (SQL, PL/SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, ETL)
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, VSTS)
Exposure to digital marketing platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), or loyalty systems is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence
Preferred Qualifications Strong ETL and Data warehousing skills/experience is added advantage Experience with AI/ML frameworks (scikit-learn, AWS AI services, or similar)
Knowledge of Digital Marketing platforms (Adobe Experience cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GCP, etc)
Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI practices
Consulting experience or client-facing roles in martech or digital transformation projects

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
