Qualifications: - Based in Europe or India, willing to travel to India and project sites as required. - 5 to 10 years of experience in smallholder regenerative agriculture and/or agroforestry in Africa or Asia. - Proven track record in technical writing for due-diligence processes, project design documents, monitoring reports, or proposal responses with writing samples. - Experience in successful grant writing or proposal leadership with measurable funding results. - Strong understanding of nature-based carbon projects including baselines, additionality, permanence, leakage, and risk buffers. - Working knowledge of soil carbon and biomass measurement, monitoring, reporting, verification, and sampling design. - Ability to interpret agronomy data and remote-sensing outputs into concise, defensible claims. - Sound business judgment in presenting benefits, costs, and risks without exaggeration. - Reliable process habits including structured intake, targeted expert requests, careful citation, and disciplined document management. - Excellent written English skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Verra, Gold Standard, or Plan Vivo, including auditor interactions. - Experience in writing standard operating procedures for field protocols, quality assurance, and quality control. - Familiarity with working in India.
