Senior Technical Program Manager, Data Center Network Infrastructure Construction

**Job Description:** As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include planning requirements, identifying risks, managing project schedules, and effectively communicating with cross-functional partners across the company. Whether explaining analyses and recommendations to executives or discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that solutions are developed to benefit everyone. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan project requirements in collaboration with internal customers and external partners to guide projects through the entire project life-cycle. - Develop project scopes with customers, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate goals clearly to project stakeholders. - Manage projects of various sizes and scopes, identify future opportunities, improve processes, and drive the technical directions of assigned programs. - Lead large-scale technical projects in a rapidly changing industry, demonstrating problem-solving leadership and the ability to tolerate ambiguity with limited oversight. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in telecommunications, low-voltage, fiber-optics, or critical systems construction management. - 5 years of experience working in data centers or similar mission critical environments with formal change control processes. - 5 years of project or construction management experience with network infrastructure (e.g., fiber optic cabling, cable tray, racks, etc). - Certification in Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar preferred. - Knowledge of fast-track design build processes and understanding of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems relative to network infrastructure.,
