Senior Technical Manager - Middleware / Web Infrastructure

As a Senior Technical Manager in Middleware / Web Infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing the service, technical aspects, and team members of the Middleware infrastructure team. You will serve as the owner of key technologies and platforms such as Websphere Application Server, JBoss, WebLogic, and IHS. Your role will involve: - Functionally and line managing the global AIS Middleware & Web infrastructure team for both Run The Business (RTB) and Change The Business (CTB) activities. - Taking ownership of service delivery for Middleware & Web infrastructure platforms. - Ensuring the 24x7 operation of Middleware services and supporting technologies. - Representing the team during high impact incidents and leading the problem review process. - Facilitating effective communication with TIS UK and India management. - Providing technical leadership and mentoring to Middleware team members. - Collaborating with TIS, Delivery, and Business teams to enhance service availability and reliability. - Managing capacity to support the Delivery projects pipeline. - Reporting on service availability, project progress, and service improvements. - Developing and executing the service continuity plan. Qualifications required for this role include: - Relevant experience in managing Middleware/Web Infrastructure teams or complex middleware projects. - Proven track record as a Senior Manager. - Extensive knowledge of related infrastructure domains like Operating Systems, application servers, and databases. - Good academic background with an external focus and industry knowledge. - Strong strategic thinking and effective communication skills. - Self-starter with a team-player mindset and ability to work with minimum oversight. - Resilient attitude in high-pressure situations. - Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
