Senior Technical Engineer - Huawei Storage

Role Overview: As a Storage Engineer, your role involves leading and executing storage migration projects from Hitachi storage systems to Huawei storage solutions. You will provide Level 3 support for Huawei storage environments, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and design, implement, and manage Huawei storage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and execute storage migration strategies while minimizing disruption to business operations is a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will perform storage capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization, develop documentation, provide training to support teams, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices in storage technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and execute storage migration projects from Hitachi storage systems to Huawei storage solutions. - Provide Level 3 support for Huawei storage environments, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. - Design, implement, and manage Huawei storage infrastructure for optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute storage migration strategies with minimal disruption to business operations. - Perform storage capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization. - Develop and maintain documentation for storage configurations, processes, and procedures. - Provide training and knowledge transfer to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in storage technologies. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on Huawei storage solutions. - Proven experience in migrating from Hitachi storage systems to Huawei storage solutions. - Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, FC, NFS, CIFS) and storage management tools. - Proficiency in Huawei storage products, including OceanStor, Dorado, and FusionStorage. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Relevant certifications in Huawei storage technologies are a plus.,
