Senior Technical Curriculum Developer

As a Curriculum Developer at Okta, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative technical content for Okta customers, partners, and employees on core Identity concepts and Okta's products. Your responsibilities will include: - Building, deploying, and updating courses and supporting elements in various formats such as video, eLearning, hands-on labs, assessments, and instructor-led sessions. - Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to validate objectives, ensure technical accuracy, and incorporate feedback into the content. - Developing a deep understanding of Okta products and the underlying technologies to create engaging and scalable educational experiences. - Using authoring tools to rapidly build technically sound and instructionally effective learning experiences. - Creating knowledge, skill, and job performance-based assessments to evaluate learning outcomes. - Working with the team to continuously improve existing learning programs based on the latest research in adult education. - Collaborating with SMEs to create modular and flexible enablement assets tailored for various needs, including onboarding and everboarding. - Adapting content to suit technical audiences with varying levels of expertise and product maturity. - Utilizing data to identify gaps across roles and develop resources to address them effectively. To be successful in this role, you should bring: - 5+ years of experience in creating technical enablement content with a track record of delivering high-quality content on time. - Strong background in SaaS and Identity Management. - 5+ years of experience supporting customer-facing technical roles. - Proficiency in building self-paced training using video or interactive eLearning. - Excellent organization, writing, and communication skills. - Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and measuring the effectiveness of enablement programs. - BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
