Role Overview: AHEAD is looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with expertise in Cisco Secure products and solutions to join the growing professional services team. As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for leading security architecture design, deployment, and optimization engagements for enterprise and service provider clients. The ideal candidate must be hands-on and act as a trusted advisor, driving strategic security initiatives and delivering impactful solutions utilizing Cisco's security portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate and execute architecture strategy & approach clearly to client senior management and stakeholders. - Implement design architecture objectives that align with client demand & business goals. - Design and implement Cisco security technologies like Cisco Secure Firewall (FTD/ASA), SecureX, and ISE. - Develop Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) strategies for hybrid environments. - Provide security assessments, risk mitigation strategies, and architecture recommendations aligned with customer objectives. - Configure and troubleshoot Cisco ISE for 802.1X authentication, TACACS+, and RADIUS. - Define security policies, segmentation strategies, and threat prevention techniques. - Offer technical leadership, mentoring, and documentation for internal teams. - Deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget with excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in network security engineering or related field. - Expertise in Cisco ISE deployments and configurations. - Strong knowledge of network security protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and identity-based access controls. - Hands-on experience with Zero Trust architectures and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). - Proficiency in troubleshooting network security issues using packet capture and log analysis tools. - Previous consulting experience is required. The compensation range for this role varies based on relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
