As a Network Access Control Product Engineer at EY Technology, you will play a crucial role in designing, engineering, documenting, and releasing Network Access Control Products and technology components across all instances and use cases within EY. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that key technologies and controls associated with Network Access Control are suitably designed and modified to enable the production release of Network Access Control Product initiatives. Additionally, you will provide consulting services to other teams and act as a level four escalation point for the Operations teams for complex issues. Your key responsibilities will involve providing consultative engagement in complex problem management activities to drive client satisfaction. You will be responsible for Solution Design and Engineering, Solution Certification, Documentation, and Operational Escalation support. In Solution Design, you will create designs based on industry best practices and engineering principles, ensuring fit for purpose localization. For Solution Certification, you will select appropriate software versions, review them, and conduct necessary tests. You will also develop and maintain documentation for configuration guidelines and templates, engage with Level 3 support teams, and create and review Knowledgebase articles. To succeed in this role, you should have advanced skills in planning, designing, and troubleshooting complex environments. You must be able to make technical decisions in support of Architecture, Strategy, Service Management, and Operations functions. Experience in dealing with external vendors and suppliers in the network industry and excellent knowledge of network access control technologies, environments, and management tools are required. To qualify for this role, you must have expert-level knowledge and experience with Cisco ISE, 802.1x authentication, enterprise office network environments, Windows and Macintosh Operating systems, and reporting/data mining capabilities. Being a self-starter who can operate without direct supervision, presenting complex messages skillfully, and possessing clear writing skills are essential. Additionally, experience with infrastructure implementation/management and service/operations management is preferred. Ideally, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering or Computer Science, along with industry accreditation or equivalent work experience. Demonstrable experience in Security technology infrastructure design and implementation, security-related professional qualifications, and service management qualifications are also desirable.
