Job Purpose:

Primarily responsible for ensuring Application Problem Management, Application Performance Management, Application Obsolescence Management and Vendor performance management of the container stack in Core Banking with respect to Retail enhancements for digital journey

To plan and execute L3 activities for the above mentioned domain.

Job Responsibilities

Application Enhancement and solutioning -

• Review the performance of the system on a periodic basis, identify potential system performance bottlenecks, get system architecture reviewed and changed wherever required to resolve the performance bottlenecks.
• Evaluation of new technologies and solutioning for applications to handle Capacity growth. Contribute to improvements & enhance efficiency of applications & processes for effectiveness.
• Management of UAT setups, UAT Capacity Management, UAT Servers OS baselines, Log review and Vendor Co-ordination for UAT errors
• Raise Infra requirement & prepare TCO with the help of IT-Project Delivery Team

Application Obsolescence Management

• Review the application technology stack for obsolescence, initiate projects for the upgrade of the application software stack when applicable, plan and execute the same.

Vendor Management

• Periodically document and review the performance of the vendor, do necessary escalations and initiate Service Improvement plans wherever applicable.
• Collaboration with the vendors for resolution of issues, new solution design, AMC & Professional services payments negotiations & renewals, agreement signoffs.

Audit and Compliance

• Ensure that applications are compliant to IT policies, processes and Internal, external, RBI & SoX audit guidelines.
• Remediation of application audit observations and ensuring hygiene processes are followed to achieve ZERO REPEAT OBSERVATIONS
• "Annual review of monitoring KPIs configured in the automation tools. The KPIs to be reviewed wrt : Relevance / Thresholds to be recalibrated / Configure new KPI if required with help automation team"

Key Skills:

1. OS:- AIX, Solaris, Unix

2. Must have worked on Flexcube Release 11.x
Hands on knowledge of FLEXCUBE retail and corporate with application architecture

3. Programming skills in Java, SQL, PL/ SQL

4. Understanding of basic Unix/ Shell scripting - Working knowledge on Weblogic application server and Oracle Database 12c / 19c

5. Exposure to application support model & emerging technologies across diverse platforms will be added benefit
