Senior Tableau Developer - Assistant Vice President

As a Senior Tableau Developer at our organization, you will be an integral part of the data visualization team, leveraging your expertise in Tableau Desktop and Server to create impactful dashboards and visualizations. Your role will involve transforming complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders through effective statistical analysis and visualization techniques. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards that incorporate various statistical displays. You will connect to diverse data sources, perform data modeling and transformation, and create complex calculations and parameters to enable dynamic statistical analysis within Tableau. Collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations will be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will select and implement appropriate statistical methods and visualizations within Tableau, provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionality, and stay updated on the latest Tableau features and best practices. Contributing to the development of data visualization standards, performing performance tuning and optimization of Tableau dashboards, as well as troubleshooting Tableau-related issues will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in developing Tableau dashboards with a focus on statistical data representation. Advanced proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Server, a strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods, and experience with data warehousing concepts and relational databases are essential qualifications. Additionally, excellent analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills are required. Experience with other data visualization tools such as Power BI and Qlik Sense, as well as Tableau certification, would be advantageous.
