Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive L2 IT Engineer with strong networking expertise to support and maintain IT operations across multiple locations. This role requires handling user escalations, troubleshooting network and system issues, supporting YouTube studio IT infrastructure, and ensuring overall IT uptime. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches, along with solid problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for escalated issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
• Troubleshoot user issues via remote and on-site support.
• Identify root causes for recurring problems and recommend permanent fixes.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity.
• Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
• Perform regular network health checks and ensure uptime.
• Support IP addressing, VLAN configuration, and bandwidth optimization.
• Monitor network security in collaboration with the security team.
• Assist with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and email systems.
• Support Windows/Linux server environments and endpoint devices.
• Perform routine patching, upgrades, and backups.
• Set up, configure, and maintain YouTube studio IT infrastructure, including cameras,
  microphones, lighting, streaming devices, and editing systems.
• Provide remote support for live streaming, recording sessions, and troubleshooting technical
  issues during production.
• Coordinate with content and production teams to maintain studio readiness and minimal
  downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software/network support.
• Maintain IT inventory and documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and assets.

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in an L2 or network engineer role.
• Strong background in networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching).
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, and AD.
• Hands-on experience supporting AV/Studio setups for video production or streaming is a plus.

Technical Knowledge

• Proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, or similar firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes for incident/change management.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux/MacOS administration.
• Understanding of AV systems, streaming software (OBS, vMix, etc.), and remote production tools is desirable.
