We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic IT Operations team. Based in Chennai (India), this role offers an opportunity to safeguard data, optimize system performance, and implement innovative solutions that empower a growing global organization. You will report directly to the Head of IT Operations (Denmark based) and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to protect data and ensure compliance while driving operational excellence across our IT landscape. Key Responsibilities As a Senior System Engineer at Maersk Training, your responsibilities will include: Monitoring the technical environment, troubleshooting, and resolving problems effectively. Performing systems/software administration, problem resolution, and change management. Creating automation tools/scripts for system administration activities and configuration standards. Managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 tools and services, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced productivity across the organization. Ensuring system stability, compliance, and high levels of security across platforms. Managing and optimizing Image and application builds and rollouts. Conducting risk identification and mitigation, as well as managing system alterations and evaluations of new products, applications, and technologies. Documenting processes and ensuring adherence to corporate IT rules and guidelines. Expertise in managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange. Strong understanding of enterprise-level technologies and security best practices. Agile mindset with a focus on continuous learning and process improvement. Excellent communication skills.
