Senior System Engineer

As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in contributing to reusable artefacts and best practices within the organization based on your demonstrated expertise from previous assignments. Your responsibilities will include mentoring colleagues, engaging in research and development activities, and interacting with service teams. In this role, you will serve as an advisor on Backbase products in projects where the implementation is carried out by clients or system integration partners. You can expect a significant amount of travel, with approximately 50% of your time spent meeting individuals from various parts of the world. As a consultant at Backbase, you will take ownership of projects, assisting customers in setting up their environments from testing to production. Your tasks will involve analyzing customer requirements, evaluating existing setups, and providing well-documented implementation guidelines. Additionally, you will offer recommendations on security standards and performance optimization. Your responsibilities will also entail designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of solutions aimed at enhancing the stability, scalability, availability, and latency of the product. Regular communication with customers and partners will enable you to provide valuable insights that contribute to product enhancements through collaboration with research and development teams.
