Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment, enjoys solving complex technical issues, and takes ownership of delivering secure and effective technology solutions for our clients.
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for a mix of project delivery, escalated support, and continuous improvement across our clients cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver infrastructure and cloud-based projects across Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.
Provide Tier 2 & 3-level support for complex systems, networking, and security-related issues.
Design, implement, and maintain M365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, OneDrive, and Defender.
Configure and troubleshoot networking equipment including routing, switching, and firewalls.
Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
Contribute to documentation, automation, and standardization efforts across environments.
Mentor junior engineers and assist with knowledge transfer across the technical team.

Key Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in a systems or infrastructure engineering role, ideally within an MSP or consultancy.
Expertise in the Microsoft 365 suite, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, OneDrive, and Defender.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across systems and networks.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and service delivery frameworks.
Exceptional communication skills with a consultative approach.

Certifications (Highly Regarded):

Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MS-102, AZ-104, MD-102).
Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNA).
Other relevant certifications (CompTIA, Fortinet NSE, ITIL).
