Senior Supply Chain Executive

POSITION VACANT:SENIOR ENGINEER HROrganization NameCHAMUNDI DIE CAST PVT LTDCompany ProfileA rapidly growing, well established, Medium Scale, Auto Component unit, Manufacturing Machined Aluminum Castings thru HPDC & GDC process. Presently having 3 manufacturing locations, 2 in Tumkur (Karnataka) and 1 in Ranipet (Tamil Nadu). We presently supply critical parts to the Automotive sector, mainly export and also locally, to blue chip Tier 1 customers.

• Strong knowledge of SCM, ei,. Sales and Production Planning, Logistics Management

• Customer Handling

Planning & Scheduling:-

• Obtain monthly production schedules from Corporate Office / Customers

• Planning the Monthly Production / Week

  wise / Daily for All Processes Including PDC / Deburring / Heat Treatment/ Impregnation / CNC / Visual Inspection / Packing

• Send daily/weekly delivery commitments to customers based on production plan

Material & Procurement Management:-

• Prepare Material Requirement Plans (MRP) for production.

• Release Purchase Orders (POs) to approved vendors at approved prices for consumables.

• Follow up and ensure timely receipt of raw materials and consumables

• Monitor daily stock (consumables, alloys) and maintain Min/Max/Re-order levels.

• Verify incoming materials (quantity, quality, rate) as per PO and certify supplier bills.

• Obtain competitive quotes for new items and release POs for: For Diecasting, Machining, Die Maint, QA, HRM & Maint

Store & Inventory Control:-

• Ensure proper storage and issue of materials for production, with accurate accounting.

• Manage material sent for outsourced processes (Deburring, Impregnation, etc.) and track return & reconciliation.

• Monitor WIP at all stages and highlight workflow issues.

Inspection, Packing & Dispatch:-

• Prioritize final inspection and ensure packing as per customer norms.

• Arrange correct labeling/stickers on packages.

• Move finished goods to FG store in standard order.

• Coordinate with customers and logistics agents for shipment.

• Prepare commercial documents and obtain required QC documents.

• Ensure correct loading, safety of materials, and protection against transit damage.

• Collect driver/security acknowledgements and hand over required documents to Accounts.

• Maintain filing records of dispatched consignments.

Customer Communication & Reporting:-

• Send dispatch intimation to customers and follow up till delivery (GRN / confirmation).

• Update weekly sales status (every Wednesday & Saturday).

• Update monthly actual sales.

• Conduct stock audits, prepare reports, and highlight discrepancies between book stock & physical stock.

Transport, Import & Export Management:-

• Process transport contract bills and hand over to Accounts.

• Manage import clearance of spares and consumables.

• Handle exports of finished goods to customers.

• Coordinate container booking as per vessel schedules and self-sealing.

• Manage checklist approvals, EPCG, and other export-import formalities.
