Senior Study Abroad Counselor/Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore for a Senior Study Abroad Counselor/Manager. The role involves guiding students through the process of studying abroad, including advising on program selection, application processes, and visa requirements. The Counselor/Manager will also be responsible for organizing informational sessions, liaising with international academic institutions, and ensuring that students are well-prepared for their study abroad experience. Additionally, you will be expected to provide tailored support to individual students, maintain accurate records and reports, and keep up-to-date with global education and visa regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in student counseling, education consultancy, or a related field
• Strong understanding of international education systems and visa requirements
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide tailored support
• Proficiency with office software and educational counseling tools
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Foreign Language, or a related field
• Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role in the education sector is a plus
